Education Qualification
Assistant Teacher (LP): At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes or At least 45% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) r egulations,2002. Or At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) Or
At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education) Or Graduation from UGC recognized University with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes Or Graduation or Post Graduation* with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized universities with LP- TET and Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/Universities.
As per NCTE Notification vide FNo. NCTE-Reg/012//22/20 19- US(Regulation)-HQ, dated 13.11.2019.The appointee who is appointed on the basis of qualification of Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) shall mandatorily undergo a Six-month bridge course in Elementary Education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) within two years of the appointment. [5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST (P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC & PH candidates]

Assistant Teacher (UP- Social Science): Graduation from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes Or

Or B.Sc. or M.Sc.* with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized universities with Assam UP- TET and Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/Universities Or B.Sc. with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized universities with Assam UP- TET and 1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/universities in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. Age Limit
Minimum age is 18 years for all candidates and the maximum age is 40 years for unreserved category, 43 years for OBC/MOBC and 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Parsons with Disability (PwD) as on 1st January’2020 as per Government Office Memorandum vide No.ABP.6/2016/51, dated 02.09.2020. This relaxation shall be applicable only ta those candidates who have attained the necessary educational or other qualifications prior to crossing their existing upper age limit of 40 years.

- iii. HSSLC Marksheet and Certificate.
- iv. Degree Marksheet and Certificate.
- v. Any other mark sheet and certificate of higher education.
- vi. D.El.Ed./B.Ed. Marksheet (1st year & 2nd year) and Certificate.
- vii. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC).
- viii. Certificate NCC (Only B or C Category), Sports & Cultural (if represented State at National Level as per Advertisement dated, 24/09/2020),
- ix. Certificate and Marksheet of CTET.
- x. Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose valid certificates of benchmark disabilities issued by the competent authority.
- xi. Certificate of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) issued by the appropriate authority.
- xii. Scanned Signature.
