- Constable (AB) Male & Transgender: 2220 posts
- Constable (AB) Female: 180 posts
- Constable (AB) Nursing: 50 posts
Education Qualification
- HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
- In addition for the posts of Constable (Nursing), Nursing Diploma is necessary.
- Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
- Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam
Age Limit
- 18 to 21 years as on 01-01-2021 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.2000).
Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age limit relaxation is as mentioned below
- SC/ST(H)/ST(P): 5 (five) years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 (three) years
- National and International sports person: 3 (three) years
Document Required
- Passed certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination.
- Mark sheet of HSLC or equivalent examination.
- Admit card of HSLC or equivalent examination for proof of Age.
- Employment Exchange registration number.
- Certificate of Sports person to avail 5% reservation of posts & age relaxation .
- Caste Certificate from the Competent Authority.
- Permanent Residential Certificate.
- Transgender Certificate issued by Competent Authority, if any.
- EWS certificate from Competent Authority, if any.
- Passport Size Photograph.
- Signature .
