Education Qualification
One year Certificate Training Course from Sericultural Training Institute, Titabor, Jorhat was applicable to candidates who passed the HSLC examination until the 1996-97 batch. For candidates who passed the HSSLC examination in Science or its equivalent, the one year Certificate Training Course from Sericultural Training Institute, Titabor, Jorhat was applicable from the 1997-98 onwards batch.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 (eighteen) years and not be more than 40 (forty) years as on 01.01.2023. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for persons with Disabilities.
Sericulture Demonstrator salary
The salary for the position is Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60,500/- per month, along with a grade pay of Rs. 6200/- per month. Additionally, other allowances as per the applicable rules will also be provided.
How to Apply
According to the advertisement, candidates who are interested and eligible for the Demonstrator posts must apply offline using the Standard Application form. The application must include self-attested copies of all academic testimonials starting from HSLC onwards, as well as any other relevant certificates, along with 2 (two) recent passport size photographs. Applications that do not include these documents will be rejected.
The application must be sent to the Director of Sericulture, Assam, Reshom Nagar, Khanapara, Ghy-22. The deadline for submitting applications is 5:00 PM on March 21st, 2023. Please note that the office will not be responsible for any postal delays in the delivery of the applications, and any such delayed applications will be rejected without any notice.
