Selection Procedure
The candidates for the above mentioned post will be selected on the basis of Interview /Viva-voce.
The tentative date of interview/Viva-voce will be held between 20th March to 24th March 2023.
Terms and Conditions
Candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Candidates must not be less than 18 years or more than 40 years of age on 01.01.2023. The upper age is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
Last date of receipt of application is 22-02-2023 till 4:30 PM. The application received after due date and due time will be summarily rejected. The appointing authority shall not be responsible for any postal delay under any circumstances.
Incomplete/ ineligible application(s) shall be outright rejected without assigning any reasons.
If, information submitted by an applicant in his/her application found suppression of material facts including educational qualification, after selection, the same will be forfeited and criminal proceedings will be initiated for playing fraud and suppression of material facts and in such cases, candidate have no right to claim for selection and same will be filled up as per decision of the Selection Board and Board decision will be the final.
The Applicant/Candidate (who is already in service) shall have to produce “No Objection Certificate” at the time of interview/ viva-voce and shall have to submit release order from their employer at the time of joining.
Testimonials in original shall be produced at the time of interview/ Viva-voce by the candidate(s) for verification.
The provisional list of eligible candidates along with specific dates of Interview/ Viva-voce will be notified in due course on the Official website of Lakhimpur District Judiciary. (http://lakhimpurjudiciary.gov.in). No individual call letter will be sent to eligible candidates. Applicants are requested to refer to the Official website.
No TA/DA will be entitled for appearing in Interview/ Viva-voce.
Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate.
The Selection Board /Committee reserve the right to cancel, alter or modify the advertisement or other terms & conditions of the advertisement at any stage.
Selected candidates at the time of joining, have to submit one medical fitness certificate from Govt. registered Medical Officer declaring the candidate to be physically and mentally fit.
The selected candidates must submit an undertaking at the time of joining of material facts of educational qualification, criminal cases, etc.
All other matters which are not specifically provided in the advertisement shall be decided by the Selection Board/Committee in due course of time.
How to Apply
The applicants who fulfil the eligible criteria shall download the “Application Form” annexed herewith the advertisement and fill up all the fields in Block Letters using blue/Black ball pen only.
He/ She shall paste one recent passport size colour photograph in the specified box and also shall put signature in the box specified therein.
The filled up “Application Form” alongwith copies of self-attested testimonials regarding Educational qualification, Age, Experience certificate & Character certificate and any other relevant document shall be submitted by the applicant along with two (2) copies of recent passport size colour photographs, duly signed by the candidates on the reverse side.
The filled up “Application Form” alongwith the said documents including photographs, shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to “The District and Sessions Judge, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur” and also indicate prominently “Post applied for Peon” on the envelope containing the Application Form.
The sealed envelope shall be dropped in a drop box provided at the office of the District and Sessions Judge, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur.
Candidates serving in Govt. Department should submit their applications through proper channel from his/her employer.
