DSE Assam Recruitment 2023: The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) Assam has announced a recruitment drive for various teaching positions in the state. The DSE Assam Recruitment 2023 will offer job opportunities for eligible candidates to fill vacancies in the Graduate Teacher (Arts) and Graduate Teacher (Science) positions, requiring candidates to hold relevant qualifications and degrees.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a Postgraduate degree in Arts or Commerce with at least 50% marks, or a degree in Science with at least 50% marks from any recognized university. Additionally, they must possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.
Candidates must also have passed the Secondary TET with a minimum of 60% marks in each paper for the UR category, and a minimum of 55% marks for candidates belonging to the OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), or PwD category.

Graduate Teacher (Arts & Science)
To apply for the position of Graduate Teacher (Arts), candidates must hold a degree in Arts/Commerce with at least 50% marks in either graduation or post-graduation from a recognized university, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.
For the position of Graduate Teacher (Science), candidates must have a degree in Science with at least 50% marks in either graduation or post-graduation from a recognized university, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.
To be eligible for the Secondary TET, candidates of the UR category must obtain a minimum of 60% marks in each paper, while candidates belonging to the OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), and PwD categories must score a minimum of 55% marks in each paper.
Graduate Teacher (Hindi)
To be eligible for the position, candidates must have a Pravin / Ratna degree in Hindi with 50% marks or a postgraduate degree in Arts with 50% marks from any recognized university, or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with 50% marks, with Hindi as one of the subjects and a postgraduate degree in Arts with 50% marks, provided they have passed BA with 50% marks in Hindi. Additionally, candidates must have a B.T or B.Ed degree from any recognized university
Candidates must also obtain a minimum of 60% marks in each paper of the Secondary TET if they belong to the UR category, and a minimum of 55% marks if they belong to the OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), or PwD category.
Graduate Teacher (Sanskrit)
To be eligible for the position, candidates must have a Shastri degree with 50% marks or a postgraduate degree in Arts with 50% marks from any recognized university, or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with 50% marks, with Sanskrit as one of the subjects and a postgraduate degree in Arts with 50% marks in Sanskrit. Additionally, candidates must have a B.T or B.Ed degree from any recognized university.
Candidates must also obtain a minimum of 60% marks in each paper of the Secondary TET if they belong to the UR category, and a minimum of 55% marks if they belong to the OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), or PwD category.
