Directorate Of Museum Assam Recruitment 2020 in Details

1. District Museum Officer Grade-I (Gazetted)

Number of Vacancies: 05

Educational Qualification

• Post Graduate degree in History (Ancient)/ Anthropology/ Archaeology/ Sanskrit from a recognized University with knowledge of Museum training /method or
• M.A in Museology from a recognized University.
• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. As a domicile proof of the candidate, one of the documents viz. PRC/Voters ID card/Employment Exchange Registration need to be enclosed.

2. Assistant Architect Grade-I (Gazetted)

Number of Vacancies: 01

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from recognized University/Institution. Should be registered with the architecture council of India.
• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. As a domicile proof of the candidate, one of the documents viz. PRC/Voters ID card/Employment Exchange Registration need to be enclosed.

3. Laboratory Chemist Grade-I (Gazetted)

Number of Vacancies: 01

Educational Qualification

• B.Sc with Chemistry from recognized University with Diploma/Certificate in Conservation from reputed Institute.
• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. As a domicile proof of the candidate, one of the documents viz. PRC/Voters ID card/Employment Exchange Registration need to be enclosed.

Salary

• Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,10,000 (Pay Band 4)+ Grade Pay of Rs.12,700/-

Age Limit

•  Minimum 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2020. The upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. rules.
